KEVLAR is an advanced personal digital vault exclusively for Bitcoin.

This platform provides a secure digital vault that requires multiple keys to access secured funds. It adds a second layer of security and peace of mind to your bitcoin holdings. You can rest assured, when Your Bitcoin is Protected by KEVLAR.

Multiple Account Options:

Free Basic Account – Quick Pay, a single-key wallet

Every KEVLAR user will start with a Basic Account (Free), and you will be able to send and receive bitcoin into this account and its wallet addresses using a single primary key (not multisig). This is your devices Primary Key and it will be encrypted and stored on your mobile device. This single key is needed to send funds from your Basic Account in the KEVLAR app. This same encrypted key will be used as one of your keys for any future Gold or Diamond Account you setup.

KEVLAR will also guide you to export an encrypted back up file for this Primary Key which should be held offline as a best case senario. However many keep their protected with your device's cloud provider. This backup can be used if you lose a device or need to reactivate your KEVLAR accounts.

This Primary Key is encrypted and can be backed up seamlessly to iCloud for iPhone users or Google Drive for Android users.

3-Key Gold Account – You maintain access to your Quick Pay account, plus obtain a 3-key account with two encrypted keys and the KEVLAR Recovery Key. This account can be managed as a joint and shared account by two users (signatories) on two different devices. Or you can save your 2nd key in a safe place which can be accessed and used when you wish to send funds from your Gold Account.

5-Key Diamond Account – You still maintain access to your Quick Pay account, plus a 5-key account with four encrypted keys and we support with the KEVLAR Recovery Key.  Three of these five keys are needed to send your bitcoin held in the Diamond Account.  The four keys under your control include your encrypted Primary Key held on your phone within the KEVLAR App, and three other digital keys which can be held on different devices with KEVLAR installed, or with secure cloud providers, or offline locations that can be accessed when needing to do a transaction.

With either a Gold or Diamond account, you can invite joint-account holders to install Kevlar and they can agree to only sign transactions for you or you and provide them joint account access just like a joint bankaccoutn.

Since you need multiple keys to send funds from your Gold or Diamond Account, the key that KEVLAR holds for emergency recovery cannot be used to send funds by itself. This way, you don't need to trust KEVLAR, but can still use KEVLAR to help you send funds in the unlikely event that you or your joint account holders lose access to your own key(s).
